Here we go again!

Marché du livre ancien, parc Georges Brassens

We went parc Georges Brassens today in search of cherry blossoms. We did find some (see extra) and will go back next week when even more will be out. We also spent some time looking around this old book market... J spotted a really nice, illustrated edition of Romain Rolland's Colas Breugnon and we somehow managed to come away with just the one purchase.

The park Georges Brassens used to be the site of an abattoir and was converted into a park in 1985. There are some statues of livestock that serve as reminders in it of its earlier purpose and it still has a vineyard that has been on the site since the 18th century.
