Santa Susanna Pass Railroad Museum

We decided at least once or twice each week to go on an adventure in our local area to learn about local history and see sights we have not seen before. This week we visited the Santa Susanna Pass Railroad Museum. We were there when it was not officially open, but one of the docents was there and he offered to give us a private tour. They have a lot of early photos of Simi Valley, tons of railroad memorabilia, working examples of how train orders were given to trains on the move, and a wonderful HO railroad set up. This is one of those places that one could spend some hours at and still feel like there was a bit more to see. I put a couple HO layout photos in the extras.
