My Granddad

Just finished painting a portrait of my Granddad. It's been an experience over the past few days because whilst I painted him it was like he was gradually coming back to life, full size, just as I remembered him :-)

We sadly lost my granddad last year, so for Christmas this year I thought it would be a nice gift to do a portrait of him to give to my Gran.

I really want to give it to her just now, but I'll try and wait till the 25th!

The picture inset is the painting framed and all ready to go :-)
