SPRING!! - Finally

Today was my official first day of spring - the day I saw the first Bee fly in my garden! and to prove it I have added a shot in my extras.
As if that wasn't enough later in the day I managed to photograph my first butterfly of 2019 - this amazingly beautiful male Orange tip Anthocharis cardamines, and I was over the moon as the Orange tip is a true spring butterfly, overwintering as a pupa and emerging in the warm days of spring to patrol the frothy verges alive with wild flowers in search of females. This beauty was patrolling my neighbors front garden, sadly there were no females to be found there.
