Return to Tampa

Today our cruise comes to an end and around 6am this morning we arrived back at the port of Tampa.  It is rather industrial looking and definitely had a more glamorous appearance while it was still dark with the lights and reflections!
We disembarked at around 9.30am, picked up the hire car(which is rather small for 4 people's luggage and set off for Anna Maria Island.  We had expected to be there within the hour but not so:  until towards the end of our cruise. we were unaware that this coming week is a big Spring Break for american schools and colleges and so it seemed that all of Florida were heading in the same direction as us. 
We eventually reached our destination, where we were shown to our incredible 2 bedroom penthouse apartment.  Now we know that it's holiday time, we realise why it was the only place with 2 rooms  left to book  by January this year.  Finding a place to eat dinner was equally challenging for the same reason, but we drove out a little and found a really lovely, friendly pizza place.
At the beginning of our holiday I put up a shot of the amazing Sunshine Skyway  Bridge as we sailed under it.  Today we drove over it and in extras is the view you see as you get on!
