Marshland....

Our Monday arrangements were cancelled today and we had a free afternoon after gym for me this morning and tennis for D.

Dulwich Park was beautiful. A favourite from our childhoods and from days when our two were much younger and we lived nearby. The relatively newly created marsh area was so still today and reflections perfect. We appreciated the quiet and beauty and signs of new life as we’d heard sad news from friends this morning.

We walked from here to Horniman Gardens where we had lunch, then back via Cox’s Walk along an avenue of trees. Everywhere was looking so newly green today.

The gift of time and beautiful places to visit. We missed O & S though and hope their mum and dad are better soon...
