Book group

Quietish day that started with the structural engineer coming to check on the planned work on the flat and visiting the flat upstairs to look at their layout (always fascinating to see how different they are within the same basic set up).
After he left I worked on promotions paperwork at home then went into the office for the afternoon. More paperwork then a couple of meetings before book group. Delicious Spanish-inspired dinner but not much talk about the book (‘An elderly lady is up to no good’ by Helene Tursten). It was quite good but very short and so didn’t give us much to talk about (especially given all the other chat we needed to do!)
