Corner corridor artwork 9

Dad was taken unwell and went into hospital last night; thankfully only an overnight stay, and he was allowed home this evening.

So also thankfully, no new hospital artwork series, just a lone addition to the last one [Corner corridor artwork 8]

This artwork is at a corridor junction in Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The text on it reads:-

after work after dark
I wheel through five gears
along invisible cycle paths
past the yellow lit windows
of offices and private rooms
where tasks and obligations
duties plans and promises
compete with dreams

but sometimes a head lifts
when my Raleigh goes by
sometimes a hand is raised

sometimes I get a wave
sometimes a child waves
