Le Mont Blanc

Last night Spencer and Nick went down into our "cave," otherwise known as the basement closet that goes to our apartment, to bring our skis out of storage. Our landlord Max keeps a ton of stuff in there like games and furniture and appliances that he says we're more than welcome to bring upstairs and use. They boys found a hard cover coffee table copy of "Le Mont Blanc" by Stefano Ardito and brought it upstairs. Nick has his heart set on summiting Mont Blanc this summer, so he was especially interested in the book. The book is awesome and has lots of history and beautiful photography in it, but also happens to have knickknacks stored in it's pages for safe keeping. There are a couple of 1990's Courchevel 3 Vallées ski passes that are pretty fun to see and a bunch of dried alpine flowers like in this picture! The only one that I know for sure is the Edelweiss, of course the white fuzzy flower. I'll have to ask Max when he last opened that book and saw the flowers. If you knew Max, you'd know it's just like him to have dried flowers in a Mont Blanc book. We love that guy.
