Four sail(s)

Quainton Windmill has been restored and the new sails were attached today. The previous sails and much associated woodwork was removed some 5 years ago.
It was an interesting morning watching the crane hoist the sails, one at a time, and the engineers attached each sail, one working from a hatch in the roof and the other from a cherry picker. Much patience has been needed for the whole project from fund raising to re-manufacture of worn parts to the re-assembly. It will be good to see the sails turning in the near future.
