Swimming in the rain

It started with a dust storm, and winds and a few drops of rain, then bigger drops and more of them, and then it poured. I just watched it pour and joked with the pool guys. I'd really wanted to swim. I wondered about the lightning, they said they'd rescue me after taking a video if there was lightning... So I swam and it was good. And unless you're doing backstroke, you're no more or less wet... I was glad I swam, straightened out the body, ready for another day at my desk before five hours in the classroom. 

Grabbed a coffee and off to work we went. 

And no doubt I'll sleep extra well for having swum.
