The Long View

Still some concern about MiL, who has good days and bad days in hospital, though she does seem to be making slow progress.  TJ will be flying down to visit her for a couple of days next week, so I spent most of the morning doing all the booking for him.  Car parking at the airport, return flights, car hire and accommodation.  

I decided not to go with him, as so many of his siblings will also be around that it could get crowded!  However, I know I will worry about him all the time he is away, as he is not very good at travelling on his own any more and always gets lost in a strange town!  He couldn't find his way out of a paper bag without someone giving him directions, but refused to pay extra for a satnav in the hire car:-)  He claims he doesn't trust technology and would rather stop and ask the way!  We shall see:-)
