Three Redheads and a Butterfly

We picked a good day to head south as it rained from Kerikeri to Auckland. When we arrived at the Auckland Botanical Garden it had eased. Lunch was the main reason to stop here as we had visited a couple of times before. The Butterfly is the sculpture by Llew Summer I have as an extra today.

The main Blip is MOAI by Fatu Feu’u a local artist who I met on my last visit to the Coromandel back in 2014. https://flic.kr/p/nnNsps He appears to have done some changes to expose the heads better.

Our stop overlooking the Firth of Thames is just for one night before we head to Rotorua tomorrow.
