The view from the tower.

having been here for 3 days now things are falling into place much better....getting used to the rhythm of the resort often takes me a few days....

spent the day away from the beach and the intense sun for a couple of reasons. i developed some very large nasty blisters on the soles of my feet, due to the sandles i wore ..... very painful, felt like i was walking on glass. it kinda threw me for a psychological loop for sure....i was imagining all sorts of nasty things happening. did go to the clinic here at the resort and the lovely dr. trimmed away the skin (ouch) and applied cream and bandage.....then the bill for almost $70 for cream, bandages, antibiotics (they don't want you taking any chances) kinda hit hard. but the good news is that my feet are so much better and my optimism has returned. boy what the brain does with potential issues eh!!!!

i had a great day wandering around the resort, taking photographs and hanging out in the shade....then a very lovely dinner at one of the quieter a la carte places.....

all is wonderful in Holguin.
