Rock of Cashel

The back side of the Rock of Cashel from Hore Abbey down the hill, Cashel, County Tipperary, Ireland. The front side may look less “broken”. We drove down from Limerick and spent the afternoon. The tour guides made the history come alive. Breezy and cool on the hilltop. Sheep dot the hillside outside the stone walls in the photo. I think my camera is still on the Alaska time zone, though the photo date is correct.
