A day of sunshine.

I knew the butterflies would be out today. 2 peacocks and 1 small tortoiseshell came to raid my borders and they were most welcome. I liked the blue of the chionodoxa as the background for the peacock. This afternoon we drove over to Wynyard Hall to see if the famous daffodils were still blooming. They were - in abundance. Sir John Hall set up this magnificent display several years ago when he owned The Hall. We did bump into him in the first year of the display. I thought he was striding towards me to tell me I was trespassing but he was very nice and stood talking to me for ages. No famous people today but still a very fine display.
It seems to be Friday and the weekend again - enjoy.
