Lenten Rose

Because we have had Such a weird winter with extreme temperatures and more snow than usual, I was very surprised yesterday to find that my Lenten rose is already in bloom.
Finding this low growing plant in bloom excited me greatly! The snow has not completely melted in the backyard yet and here I have a flower in bloom. It made all of the spring bulbs like daffodils and tulips pale in comparison. They are just poking
