Rotarians Being Silly

There was plenty of scope at the Rotary Conference for Silly Saturday, hosted by admirer, today.

The organising club, Lower Blue Mountains, has a thing about gnomes so every club had to bring along a decorated one. That’s pretty silly. Ours represented the Blackheath rocket.

The theme for the evening was rock and roll. More silliness, but the most silly was they didn’t play a 50s song all night which was disappointing.
Mr Isbi and I had practised some rock and roll moves with the help of YouTube and no doubt looked very silly.

Bob who is in his late 80s had no trouble hitting the dance floor with Sherlie. Not silly.

The group photo was taken at the conclusion of the “End Polio Walk”.
Rotary has been largely responsible for funding the near eradication of polio world wide.
I think the locals probably though it was a demonstration.
