Lathyrus Odoratus

The Peacock (or more correctly the European Peacock) one of seven butterfly species (others were: Brimstone, Comma, Red Admiral, Orange Tip, Speckled Wood, Small Tortoiseshell) seen on this morning's walk up Blackcap bostal and down into Ashcombe Bottom. I think that's a good haul - its pretty much everything that's on the wing at the moment (Holly Blue and Green-veined white were remote possibilities). Now that butterflies are out in good numbers I need to start carrying my longer lens.
