Day 089/19. A Hairy Shieldbug......

Our garden is beginning to be full of bugs. Great for a photographer who enjoys macro !!
The Shield bugs were out in numbers today in the spring sun.
You need a magnifying glass (or a macro lens !!) to discover where these insects get their name.  When you look real close you notice that Hairy Shieldbugs are covered in tiny brown hairs. (see second image)
The body is often brown or maroon coloured, and their "shield" is greenish with a yellow tip.  The margin of the body is black and yellow.
Hairy Shieldbugs are sometimes called "Sloe" Shieldbugs.
