Wren

This little bird is really adept at finding tiny bugs around the edge of the pond. One of my pond plants is being destroyed by a blackbird that is helping itself to the mud. It then flies high into a tree where it is making its nest. Strange behaviour!
I spend most of my time trying to chase off the persistent  mallards that are also destoying the pond. Oh Joy!!
