on the cactus bloom

can you see it? - one arm outstretched - her skirts swirling around her feet - it's what came to my mind - as i glanced over at - my blooming christmas cactus - this morning and once an image - is blazoned on your brain - well, then it's just there - no matter how i tried - it wouldn't go away - so i thought i'd simply share - it with all of you - wasn't that nice of me - now it can be embedded on your - brain as well - yay!

plus, it's one more opportunity - to post this fabulous survivor - of a horrific incident - i will never tire of promoting - how incredible it is that my plants - lived through the devastation of flooding - and the encroachment of insulation debris - i have seen up close the severe impact - both can have on property - material as well as living - so to experience the promise - of new life through these blossoms - brings joy to me - after a long journey where clouds hovered - now it can be...
