Just Hatched

I sat on this nest for 3 days from morning to evening waiting on these two little Sandhill Crane Colts to hatch.   The one on the right was born on March 27th and the one on the left the 28th ..  This picture was taken of the hatchling . We watched him peck the egg open and crawl out of the egg ..  Amazing.
