A Turn in the River

Today 23 members of the walking group parked at Kane Road, and walked up the true left of the Clutha River.  There were some fresh rock falls across the track, so were a bit hard to negotiate.  Besides that there was a vicious wind, blowing against us on the way up river, and behind us on the return trip.  The extra photo is 'Heading to the Mountains'.  We stopped for a welcome cuppa on the way home.   15,000 steps, or 11 k's.  That's enough walking for one day, so time to put my feet up.
