The Birthday Boy

Happy 80th birthday to my Uncle Doug.
We had the Great Doug Gordon Bake Off organised by Nelly- who was also the winner with her rainbow cake.
I commissioned Claire to do a painting of Winnie- I love it so much I could hardly hand it over. She brought it over this morning, also had DJ for a couple of hours.
Afternoon saw much cake eating and pizza making in Doug’s new pizza oven. We also had a game of rounders where I fell quite inelegantly.
Despite Doug being unwell I think he enjoyed his birthday.
