A great read

I was lucky to find a book I wanted to read on a charity sale table the other day and have just finished reading ‘I’ll keep you safe ‘ by Peter May.
His thrillers are always a great read and this one is no exception.
Set on the Isle of Lewis, he paints a very evocative picture of the Island, it’s weather and it’s hardy families. I love the details about the fabric industry and the influence of the sea and the weather on all who live and work there.
The story is very fast paced with a gripping ending.
Really a good read!
My extra today is the Roudsea ospreys, they are back! We saw two on the nest, the male brought in a large fish so they are off to a good start!
