Pieris

This was a variegated pieris.  But it has been left to look after itself for a number of years, and having neglected to keep the non-variegated shoots trimmed, they have taken over.  It seems to have thriven on the neglect, and has flowered abundantly this year.  I love the contrast of the flowers with the fresh red shoots.  

It would benefit from some attention this year.  It needs pruning, and probably should either be planted out, or repotted, it's rather crowded in the current pot.
