Naked in its majesty
The maple is having a hard time of it. (Not as bad as me, let's put things into perspective, here.) It's April already and the snow is on the ground, and more is forecast over the next couple of days.
No matter how hard a time it is having, it always looks majestic. And that majesty continues through the first shoots of leaves (soon, I hope), through the verdant foliage of summer, the riot of colour in autumn, and even the sad yellowing and drop of winter.
