Tuesday: Wing Span

I worked from home this morning but logged off early afternoon to finish prepping for our short break.

We headed to the airport late afternoon to catch our flight to London. We're heading back for a short break - K. was there in January, for me it's the first time in two and a half years, the longest I've been away.

It was a smooth overnight flight but......a few hours in to the flight the pilot announced that, for those on the right hand side of the aircraft, we would be able to see the Northern Lights. And see them we did - they were absolutely incredible. Green shimmering curtains of light.........quite unlike anything I've seen.
