Just Walkin'

Uncle Dave has stopped over on his way from Atlanta to New Orleans. As the weather is unusually agreeable for this time of the year, we were able to take a sunset stroll with Stella. Don't they look good, just walking like so? As Uncle Dave is battling a mean bout of bronchitis, he had a shot of his cough-stopping syrup with codeine and passed out at 7:30 pm., leaving Husband Dear and me to relax watching an episode of Poirot.

The media are filled with stances on gun ownership, mental illness, and talking to kids about what happened in Connecticut. Lots of word, some sensible, others filled with hatred and fear. Proposals to arm all teachers in America, and record gun sales reported by a mega-chain store Walmart. I will cut myself completely of all news for a while, because I just can't stand it.
