remember last year? when i took the kids to see santa by myself and muller wouldn't even let go of me or go near santa so i spent $20 to get a photo of lola by herself with santa (i would have even loved a crying photo, but muller wouldn't even do that)... and then sent don back with the kids to see if he could get anything better and he spent $30 on a photo of the three of them with lola not even smiling? the extra $10? was for a black and white version of the same photo because don didn't remember that i could just scan the color one and turn it black and white myself. yeah. so let me add that up for you. $50 on santa photos last year. and not one of them actually good. so this year all i wanted was a free santa that would let me take my own photo. i heard of one way out on 82nd ave in a rundown strip mall. perfect! haha. all we had to do was donate to their food and clothing drive. we showed up this morning and santa was sitting in the dark. in the back of a trailer in the parking lot. in a room with the windows all blacked out with bright blue sheets. no idea why not even a little bit of natural light was allowed. but the santa had a real beard and was not at all creepy and the kids loved him. for the first time muller sat on his lap and excitedly told him all the spiderman stuff he wants for christmas and lola told him she wants a paint set (done!). and i took this pic and for free i think it'll do!
