Something Different

Spring is definitely in the air, because I had yard visitors other than doves, starlings, grackles and cardinals.  I can't remember the last time I saw a Chipping Sparrow here, and he was joined by a White-throated Sparrow.  Earlier this morning an owl flew onto a branch outside the window, and although I was able to get a shot, it was very poor.  Then I spotted a Red Fox beyond the fence, circling to find a cozy place to nap.  This much activity is unusual, so I'm glad I got lucky and saw it.
