Border Tails

By Swannie

Sheba.

This morning I experienced the worst driving conditions so far in this job. When I left the house, there were very large, but fairly wet, snowflakes falling. It got much worse as I drove down the A7. Between Selkirk and Hawick there was an artic close to jackknifing as he was failing to make it up the hill. There were also two cars and a van off the road.

I was worried about how bad it would be further south, but it was clear from Hawick on. By the time I got down to Cumbria, it quite a nice day. I didn’t think to stop and take any pictures, I was just concentrating on my driving, so tonight’s blip is more of a white cat than a white out.
