Ice

We are staying in a little dome tent like a hobbit house at EcoCamp Patagonia. It was lashing down with rain when we woke up and today is the day we've booked to go to see the Glaciers on Grey Lake.
We had a longish  drive followed by a boat/catamaran trip right up close to to the wall of ice of the glacier. It was spectacular as were the forget-me-not blue icebergs which have calved off from the main glacier and drifted across the lake to melt slowly. It was difficult to keep the cameras dry and to stop them from misting up.
The extra is a sighting of the three Torres in the early morning sunshine.
The weather is so rapidly changeable you have to photograph them when you can.
This evening it is tipping down with rain and is forecast to do so all night and tomorrow is the day we want to go on the long fourteen mile hike to the foot of the Torres. We shall see.
