Ferry to Ulva

We've spent the day on the Island of Ulva walking along the shore and through the woodland (extra 1). The ferry is on demand and takes about a minute. This is the third time we've been to Ulva but the first since the community buyout. There are ambitious plans for the regeneration and repopulation of the island and I hope all the hard work pays off. It's certainly long term work but wonderful to see it happening. On the walk we saw this old potato lifter (extra 2). Extra 3 is light on Ben More, the only Munro on Mull which our friend S has climbed. The main blip is the ferry approaching to take us over to Ulva and the famous Ulva Boathouse where we had coffee and cake on arrival and soup before we left.

Today is Cameraman's birthday so we're eating out tonight to help him celebrate.
