On Call

As I was heading home on the bus tonight I hoped that I would have a quiet evening.  I'm on call and being on call is always good when no-one calls.

My phone rang as I was sitting in the bus....

And here it is 2 hours later and I'm still working.

Yes.  All that "All you have to do is submit a job and that'll be it." is turning into a whole evening of "You have to fix the thing you don't know about".  I'm not best pleased.  It appears nobody really listened when I said I know NOTHING about this.
