Nine Go to Edinburgh

Backblip
Cameron chose an Escape Room experience for his birthday present from me. We boarded the LNER London train due to the local one Perth to Edinburgh being cancelled because of no crew! Boys got a table together and us adults and Ben were just being. Friend Gunga got on at Stirling heading to the Rugby - some semi final going on.

The escape rooom was booked for 1.30 and I thought some brain food would be a good idea beforehand and booked the China Red as had a buffet but that was swiftly changed when was informed at the station the Harris has a sesame seed allergy where his airways swell and his skin breaks out in spots and Miller has a peanut allergy ......

Nando’s it was then and happened to pass China Red front door and their was a sign up saying we don’t cater for allergies ..... em, is that a disclaimer?

Nando’s was ideal - the boys had 30 chicken wings between them and endless drinks and chips. All happy.

While the boys and Paps headed for the escape room laura Ben and I wandered along George Street and had a coffee sitting outdoors in the sunhsine and she bought a few cupcakes in Bibi’s bakery.

Met the gang and they had a good time getting out in 53 mins. Awesome brainpower lads and then we sat in St Andrew’s Square again in the sun before heading for the train home at 330.

The boys were a credit to their parents - these lovely boys I’ve known since nursery school can’t believe they are all teenagers now.

Paps and I were exhausted by evening after our trip to Edinburgh.
