Sherlock Holmes

I was chuffed to notice that the statue honouring Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with a statue of Sherlock Holmes, has been returned to its rightful place. Close to the house he was born in at 11 Picardy Place, Edinburgh.

It was put into storage, to keep it safe while they diverted public utility services the length of Leith Walk to (not) install a tramline.

Good to see the auld boy back, overseeing all the hustle and bustle of Picardy Place and Leith Street.
