Drookit Daffodils

As we get closer to Easter, I thought I had better feature one clump of Daffodils from our garden.

Although we have enjoyed dry weather recently it has usually been quite windy. Today there is no wind but it is wet.

Result is Drookit Daffodils. Drookit is a Scots word and means wet. It derives from the Old Norse word Drukna which means "to be drowned".
