The Moutere Inlet, NZ, taken through the car window as we travelled between Motueka and Nelson for the Nelson Heritage Houses Tour.  

This tour was organised as part of the Nelson City Heritage Festival and a fundraising event for the Nelson Cancer Society.

Seven homes plus The Nelson Club (Men) and the Nelson Women’s Club were opened to ticket holders. It was a wonderful day - I loved visiting every property and appreciated the home owners who freely opened their doors to us all.  

Devonshire tea was served at The Nelson Club - usually an all male domain, likewise the Women’s Club who only allowed men through their doors twice a year!

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s autumn snow. It has disappeared from Mt Arthur, but still very evident on the high peaks on the Nelson side of Tasman Bay.
