Deer

Went for a run with the Cani sport lot tonight. With the clocks changing on Sunday it was the last week we would be needed to put the lights out on the corners for the rest to follow as it’ll be light enough, even in the woods next week. As it was dusk when we started we saw 7 deer and 2 bunnies on the run. Got to the end of the run and a guy was looking for his labradoodle he had let off. Finished the run and none of us had seen his dog. Turns out to be one of the old runners from the club. We all helped out looking. A local called me over when she noticed a different dog in a nearby house’s garden. Seems Leo had run off chasing deer and then jumped into the garden of the house as was stuck barking at the gate. He was quickly re-united with a happy owner. Came back to find the painter hadn’t put the skirting boards back in a couple of rooms like we had asked him to today. He’d better do it tomorrow.
