Celebrating our fortieth anniversary of wedded bliss. (Mostly)
Nothing really organised as we had a cousin coming from the States that we had to pick up from the airport at 9am.
First she was delayed in Dallas so missed the connection flight had to go via Philly to get a flight via London to Edinburgh and arrived at 3pm minus her luggage which is somewhere between Philly & Edinburgh.
We then had to take her to North Berwick where she is staying for two weeks. So we had planned to have a quiet spot of lunch (us two) after dropping her in NB.
After all the hassle had a very nice meal in Gullane on way home, now a wee glass of wine & a quiet night.
Just as well the weather was not good something that was the same 40 years ago.
