Land-and-seascapes

Godlinze.

I went to Godlinze after dinner with Richard for a drone sunset. Godlinze is a small village near Delfzijl.

We found a quiet carpark at the local football club which we turned into our airport. The light was great, but as soon as we reached a height of 30 meters our controllers warned us about strong winds.
We ignored that for a while and took some shots.

After Godlinze we went a bit further (by car) to a windmill between Zijldijk and Loppersum. We tried to capture the sunset there, but that was quite difficult.

Suddenly Richard was in trouble when his phone went dead midflight. It's hard flying with no visibility. Fortunately the home-button on the controller did what it was supposed to do and after a short while his drone hovered above us.
With the sun gone and both our drones safe on the ground again, we went home again.
