Marahau to Toturanui to Awaroa

Backblip:
Today we started our Abel Tasman Coastal walk. It started by getting aboard a boat on land in Marahau and it being towed to the sea (extra) and being taken to the northern end of the track by boat. At Toturanui we disembarked and started walking. We had to time our walk so we could fit in with the tides at Awaroa and walk across a large bay at low tide. It was the same bay that we were to kayak in the following day.

The main photo is of a Weka - they are flightless birds (like Kiwi) and very curious.
