Well, it's my own fault.  These are not dumb animals.  They picked up on the fact that I'm an easy target for an early breakfast.  I'm trying to wean them off the daily routine because they make a lot of noise which draws attention to my indiscretion.   Sooner or later they'll probably show up with a gaggle of kids who will learn the routine.  Can't have that.  I'll be asked to leave my apartment.
