Hairy McClery

These children's books by Lynley Dodds I have read to children, sent overseas and given to children. They are a favourite of mine. Lynley Dodds comes from Tauranga and on the Strand the characters are immortalized. We see Scarface Claw up the pole looking suitably scary and Hairy McClery and all the friends down on ground level wanting a piece of him. There is Bottomly Potts with lots of spots, Muffin McLay like a bundle of hay etc.
