Some simple things

Some things I never tire of
Like these few daffodils
Easily purchased but
Appreciated for their symbolism,
Their colour, their simple blousy beauty.
Outside our daffs blow in the breeze
Newly weeded beds look grateful
And buds on fruit trees tease us.
'You'll just have to wait a little longer...'
