My New Wheels

I go so fed up with the bus situation here, I bought myself an electric scooter (Danke an Elwetritsche für die Idee).  Not a Vespa or anything that requires a licence, just a scooter that can go at up to 12 miles an hour. And given that the way I would go to work means never seeing a pedestrian, I reckon this will be quite fun - it will at least take away the annoyance of buses that never turn up.

It's the first thing I've owned that has a motor.  I've never learned how to drive (and judging by what I see here, neither have 50% of the people with cars) and I don't feel happy with the idea of learning.  But this thing is just a kick and away we go.  Probably to Hospital with a broken wrist after a badly judged kerb but them's the breaks....

I would have liked to have taken it for a test scoot today but it's pouring with rain and this thing isn't stable in the wet.
