Monuments

Our next U3A subject is monuments, we knew there were quite a few in the Penrith area. So after meeting up with a friend who lives in Penrith he came with us to point out some locations.
This is a millennium stone that was quite near a couple of locations that were within walking distance of where we parked.
We then went to Shap for fish and chips and a look around Shap Abbey.
