Pelargonium

Logan gardens tour today and found this in the greenhouse part of a collection which was donated to the institution.
Taken with the 12mm extreme wide angle and severely cropped and I am amazed at the detail remaining ie. Fine hairs showing on the plant. This highlights a newish aspect to photography ie. eg. The new Leica Q2 with a 28mm fixed lens has crops to include 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, from 47 mp.
This suggests that fewer lenses of different focal lengths will be required from the latest sensors.
